Located within the grounds of the beautiful Seaton Hall, The Moorhen is a uniquely situated Bistro, serving delicious food, sourced, wherever possible, from local suppliers.
The Moorhen bistro is a great dining experience for the whole family. Our menu offers simple food that's delicious and flavoursome and our daily specials board has proven hugely popular with a wide cross section of guests. The cafe overlooks our Tea Garden, which has covered outdoor seating and retail areas, selling garden pots and leading to our on-site Antiques Street.
Our outdoor seating area is particularly convenient for visitors with dogs and parking is plentiful with allocated spaces for the disabled.
Private parties can be catered for and we can also offer short notice overnight stays to diners on a room by room basis.
